Vibe agrees transfer of North American Property D&F book from Navigators

Vibe Syndicate 5678, the legacy and live Lloyd’s syndicate, has added Property D&F to its live platform with the appointment of Ed Pomeroy and Mark Herget who join from Navigators. Vibe and Navigators have agreed terms to allow the immediate release of the team and Vibe has assumed the book, including all future claims, commencing 01 January 2017. Vibe will be responsible for continuing to service the book.

Ed’s extensive insurance experience, gained over the last twenty four years, has included Copenhagen Re (UK), Cooper Gay, Markel and Barbican. Mark has twelve years property experience, commencing his career with Commonwealth Insurance in Vancouver. In 2012 Mark moved to London to join Faber Global, before joining Navigators in 2014.

Since Vibe commenced underwriting live business in mid-2014, Vibe has built a diversified underwriting portfolio; these appointments are a continuation of its expansion plan. Over the last twelve months, Vibe has added underwriting teams for Casualty Treaty, international and North American Professional Indemnity and Political Risk, Surety, Credit and Terrorism.

Bradley Knight, Chief Underwriting Officer, said “Vibe has always sought to add highly respected underwriters as we build the Syndicate’s underwriting capabilities; in Ed Pomeroy and Mark Herget we are confident we have two accomplished and disciplined underwriters who will progress the long term underwriting vision of the Board.”

Dinah Gately, CEO of Vibe, said “We are delighted to welcome Ed and Mark to Vibe. The ability to enter into this agreement not only gives the team a strong foundation for the future but will also ensure continuity of service for clients.”
